Sunday stand

Caleigh is changing before our very eyes. Today I took her out of the high chair from eating spaghetti (hence the no clothes) and looked over and find her doing this... And this is just a cute set of pictures I took of her this morning in her church clothes.

Splish splash I was taking a bath

It was time to put up Caleighs little bath tub. She was splashing all over the kitchen. We decided to get out the duck tub we used with Reese. Like anything new, Reese insists that he needs in it. He has recently become obsessed with wanting in the pack n play- imagine a kid wanting to be confined! She went crazy splashing around in it.

8 months and counting

Caleigh is 8 months old today. I can hardly beleive it! She is crawling all over the place and pulling up on things. She can go from crawling to sitting upright and then pull herself up onto Reese's toys. Things are about to get very interesting around here! Here are some recent pictures of her

Goodbye

Today I attended the funeral of my great uncle Woody. He was the last surviving sibling of my grandfather. He wrote poetry and they read a beautiful Valentines poem he had written his wife. Rusty should take note!

Birthday

Today would have been Miles 18th birthday. There is not a day that goes by that I dont think about him. We miss him dearly

Recovery

Thank you to everyone for the prayers and well wishes. I had my surgery yesterday to remove my gallbladder and tie my tubes. Yesterday was a bit rough with nausea,exhaustion,and immobility but today things are looking alot better. I have family here for this week to help with the kids- what a lifesaver! Reese has been so sweet. He asks me if I am still sick and gives me a kiss. He told his grandparents that someone cut mommy's belly button and it was bleeding. I have told him for a week or so that I was going to the hospital and his grandparents were coming so he somewhat knows whats going on.

Decoration

Reese is really into the word "decoration" ever since Christmas. A few days ago he said- " Mommy, Caleigh is a decoration". Where does he get that. I couldnt stop laughing and explained to him that she was a real person
